Hear Me

But as for me,
my prayer is unto thee, O Lord,
in an acceptable time: O God,
in the multitude of they mercy hear me,
in the truth of thy salvation.

Not By Might

Not by might,
Nor by power,
But by my Spirit,
Saith the Lord of hosts.

New Corner Stone Cowboy retail shop

I've been online since 2006 and set up my first online retail shop in 2007.
For the last six years I have been with the web host, Tictail, located in Sweden.
I had four shops at Tictail, but unfortunately they announced in November of 2018 they were closing.

I chose Wix.com as my new host and I have been working the last three months to get it going.
On February 26 I closed out my last Tictail shop.
On February 27 I transferred my domain to Wix..

It is still a work in progress, but check it out if you get a chance.

Fear Thou Not

Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
Be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee;
Yea, I will help thee;
Yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand
of my righteousness.

Joy Cometh in the Morning

For his anger endureth but a moment;
in his favour is life:
weeping may endure for a night,
but joy cometh in the morning.

The Light Shineth in Darkness

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

John 1:1-5
KJV Bible

Glory

Not unto us, O Lord,
not unto us,
but unto thy name give glory,
for thy mercy,
and for thy truth's sake.

Rejoice

This is the day
which the Lord hath made;
we will rejoice
and be glad in it.

With my whole heart

With my whole heart have I sought thee.
O let me not wander from thy commandments.
Thy word have I hid in mine heart,
that I might not sin against thee.
Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes.

Two White Lions Lying in the Sun

BIO: I took this photo of these two beautiful creatures in May of 2014.
White lions are a color mutation of the African lion.
They can range in length from 5’ to 10’ and weigh up to 500+ pounds.
Their range is Timbavati, South Africa.
Unfortunately, they are at high risk of extinction in the wild.

Shaker Village Houses

BIO: These two structures are on the west end of Shaker Village.
The closest is the Old Stone Shop built in 1811.
It served many functions over the years but was most recently used as a medical office.
The farthest building is the West Family Dwelling built in 1821.

Shaker East Family Sewing Shop

BIO: This is a view of the East Family Sewing Shop in Shaker Village, Pleasant Hill, Kentucky.
The bright yellow paint stands out in sharp contrast to the nearly cloudless deep blue sky.
This building was constructed in 1855.
It was the center for sewing, spinning and weaving.
Hundreds of silk worms were raised on the 2nd floor from which silk thread was harvested.

Psalm 51

Psalm 51
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba.

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly  from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
Do good in thy good pleasure unto Zion: build thou the walls of Jerusalem.
Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.

Mercy

Many sorrows shall be to the wicked:
but he that trusteth in the Lord,
mercy shall compass him about.

Celtic Cross

This old Celtic Cross monument
is a grave marker at a local historic cemetery.
The origins of today's Celtic Crosses goes back to Ireland in the Middle Ages.
Some designs go back much earlier.
Some cemeteries are depressing and lifeless
while others are beautiful gardens with exquisite art work.
Whatever their appearance they are a reminder to those of faith that
this world is not our home.

Old Column

Bio: This stately old column is a grave marker at a local historic cemetery.
The tall white column stands out against the leafless trees and the deep blue sky.
Some cemeteries are depressing and lifeless
while others are beautiful gardens with exquisite art work.
Whatever their appearance they are a reminder to those of faith
that this world is not our home.
